Richard Sayers

Richard holds the Personal Charter for the Chartered Securities and Investment Institute and is President of the Jersey Branch of the CISI.

Having worked in the investment industry for over fifteen years, his experience includes seven years as a discretionary portfolio manager specialising in trust and pension solutions. Richard has a thorough understanding of effective portfolio and risk management, due to his first hand experience as a portfolio manager and the actual management of money.

Previously, Richard has held positions with Barclays Private Bank & Trust and Royal Bank of Canada managing investment solutions for Trustees, including the selection and review of third party investment providers. Previously he provided stock broking services with the Equity Trading and Sales division of Matheson Securities.

Richard holds the Securities and Investment Institute Diploma and is President of the Jersey Branch of the SII. He is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is on the STEP Panel of Experts.

James Painter

James is a Director of Enhance Investments Limited.

With over 20 years experience in the finance sector, James has extensive experience both monitoring and managing investment portfolios. Prior to joining Enhance Investments, James was Senior Manager of Investor Services at Equity Trust, responsible for the monitoring and analysis of portfolios for Trusts based in Jersey, Guernsey, Geneva and the British Virgin Islands. James had previously been a portfolio manager for the Royal Bank of Canada based in London and Jersey, managing portfolios for trust, pension funds and private clients. He was also an investment manager at ABN Amro in Jersey and Zurich.

James is a Fellow of the Securities and Investment Institute, holding the diploma including papers in 'Private Client Investment Advice’, 'Regulation & Compliance' and 'Fund Management'. He is also qualified as General Representative having passed both the Securities and the Futures & Options papers and is an associate member of the Society of Technical Analysts.

Oliver Mourant

Oliver is a Director of Enhance Investments Limited.

Oliver has over 10 years experience in the finance sector and is currently director of operations. He has been instrumental in the development of Enhances internal systems, processes and procedures.

Previously he worked for the Investor Services division of Equity Trust specialising in investment manager assessment and portfolio reporting. He focused on the centralisation in Jersey of the investment reporting service for offshore offices of Equity Trust, including the British Virgin Islands, Geneva and Guernsey.

He also worked for the fixed interest team at Standard Bank Stockbrokers in Jersey servicing institutional clients. He has held positions with Deutsche Asset Management and Westpac Bank in Sydney.

Oliver is a Member of the Securities and Investment Institute.

Carmel O'Connor

Carmel has worked as an investment consultant for fiduciary services for over 10 years. Before joining Enhance Investments she worked for Walbrook Group, which was subsequently acquired by Barclays. Prior to this she worked at HSBC Private Bank.

Carmel is well experienced in working with trustees and directors to identify the optimum investment strategy for trusts and fiduciary solutions, identifying leading investment managers and thereafter monitoring performance, risk and suitability.

Having graduated from Dublin City University with an honours degree in Humanities, Carmel subsequently passed the Investment Advice Certificate and Securities Institute Diploma.

Carmel is a Fellow of the Securities Institute.

Ray Bishop

Ray is an Investment Analyst with over 23 years experience in the finance industry.

Most recently, prior to joining Enhance, Ray spent three years at Standard Bank Trust Company monitoring the performance of their clients’ investment portfolios.

Ray previously held positions as a discretionary portfolio manager with the Royal Bank of Canada Private Bank and Trust and James Capel (CI) Limited as well as being an Investment Advisor at Banque Nationale de Paris.

Ray holds the Securities and Investment Institute Diploma having passed exams in Private Client Investment Advice, Regulation and Compliance and Interpretation of Financial Statements. He has also completed the Chartered Institute of Bankers examinations.

Stuart McGarry

Stuart is an Investment Administrator with Enhance Investments Limited. Prior to joining Enhance, Stuart worked within the Investment Services division of Abacus, specialising in investment performance analysis and portfolio reviews. He has also been an Investment Administrator with Equity Trust.

Stuart’s current responsibilities include compiling investment reviews and dealing with all manner of operational client queries.

More recently Stuart has been responsible for the delivery of the “International Investment Competition” and educational presentations to clients.

Justin Simpson

Justin is an investment consultant.

He began his career in finance with the Walbrook Group in 2004 and he chose to specialise with Walbrook Investment Consultants, providing investment oversight for the Jersey, Guernsey, Isle of Man and Hong Kong divisions. The Walbrook Group was subsequently acquired by Barclays Wealth in 2007, and Justin continued to provide investment oversight services to the enlarged client base with additional offices in locations such as Geneva and the Cayman Islands.

During his time at Walbrook and Barclays Wealth, Justin acquired specialist and in-depth knowledge of the risks and challenges faced by the Trust sector in meeting their fiduciary responsibilities.

Justin holds the Investment Management Certificate and is currently studying towards the Securities & Investment Institutes Masters in Wealth Management.

Joeleen Le Couteur Harvey

Joey provides support to the investment analysts and consultants at Enhance.

Originally from Durban, South Africa, she has sector knowledge and international experience. Joey formally worked in the bookkeeping division with Mourant and reconciliations department of Jersey Telecom.
