Richard Sayers BA (Hons) FSI ACIArb

Richard is Managing Director of Enhance Investments Limited.

He has extensive investment management experience including seven years as a discretionary portfolio manager specialising in trust and pension solutions. Having experience as a portfolio manager and having actually managed money, Richard has a thorough understanding of effective portfolio and risk management.

Richard held positions with Barclays Private Bank & Trust and Royal Bank of Canada managing investment solutions for Trustees, including the selection and review of third party investment providers. Previously he provided stock broking services with the Equity Trading and Sales division of Mathesons Securities.

Richard holds the Securities and Investment Institute Diploma, having focused on Private Client Investment Advice, Regulation and Compliance and Fund Management. He has been a Fellow of the Institute since 2000 and is on the Jersey Committee . He is also an Associate Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and is on the STEP Panel of Experts.

James Painter FSI

James is an Investment analyst at Enhance Investments Limited.

James has worked in the investment industry for over sixteen years.

James has extensive experience both monitoring and managing investment portfolios. Prior to joining Enhance Investments, James was Senior Manager of Investor Services at Equity Trust, responsible for the monitoring and analysis of portfolios for Trusts based in Jersey, Guernsey, Geneva and the British Virgin Islands. James had previously been a portfolio manager for the Royal Bank of Canada based in London and Jersey, managing portfolios for trust, pension funds and private clients. James was also an investment manager at ABN Amro in Jersey and Zurich.

James is designated a Fellow of the Securities and Investment Institute, holding the diploma including papers in 'Private Client Investment Advice' , 'Regulation & Compliance' and 'Fund Management'. He is also qualified as General Representative having passed both the Securities and the Futures & Options papers and is an associate member of the Society of Technical Analysts.James is a member of the 'International Adviser Investment Panel'.

Ray Bishop FSI ACIB

Ray has over 20 years experience in the finance industry and most recently spent 3 years at Standard Bank Trust Company monitoring the performance of their clients’ investment portfolios.

Ray previously held positions as a discretionary portfolio manager with the Royal Bank of Canada Private Bank and Trust and James Capel (CI) Limited as well as being an Investment Advisor at Banque Nationale de Paris.

Ray holds the Securities and Investment Institute Diploma having passed exams in Private Client Investment Advice, Regulation and Compliance and Interpretation of Financial Statements. He has also completed the Chartered Institute of Bankers examinations.

Oliver Mourant MSI

Oliver is a Portfolio Analyst at Enhance Investments Limited, he has over six years experience in the finance sector.

Oliver has responsibility for the day to day management of the Enhance Manager Analysis Programme (E-MAP) the stream of portfolio data and report generation.

Previously he worked for the Investor Services division of Equity Trust specialising in investment manager assessment and portfolio reporting. He focused on the centralisation in Jersey of the investment reporting service for offshore offices of Equity Trust, including the British Virgin Islands, Geneva and Guernsey.

He also worked for the fixed interest team at Standard Bank Stockbrokers in Jersey servicing institutional clients. He has held positions with Deutsche Asset Management and Westpac Bank in Sydney.

Oliver is a Member of the Securities and Investment Institute.

Stuart McGarry BEd

Stuart is a portfolio analyst. Prior to joining Enhance, Stuart worked for Abacus in the Investment Services division as an Investment Executive specialising in investment performance analysis and portfolio reviews.

Stuart has also been an Investment Portfolio Analyst with Equity Trust and worked for HSBC as an accounts reconciliation administrator.

Darren Le Fevre

Darren is Head of Technology Strategy

He has over ten years experience in the offshore trust and private banking sector, specialising in information systems and technology.

He has responsibility for driving forward the efficient delivery of Enhance Investment services through continuing technological innovation.

Darren was previously with SG Hambros Bank and Trust as the Groups Network Manager with responsibility for systems and staff in London, Jersey, Guernsey, Gibraltar and the Bahamas. He was central to the successful upgrade of the group's network infrastructure, facilitating the full integration of systems platforms, technologies and business teams across the 500+ staff.

Formerly, Darren held a lead technical role at Standard Chartered Bank and Trust, focusing on the development and support of third party and internal applications and processes, work flow applications, database and reporting technologies.

Chris McCarthy

Chris McCarthy is a Senior Developer and is responsible for developing internal business systems and web solutions.

Prior to joining Enhance, Chris worked for Ashburton within the e-commerce division as a Senior Web Developer. Chris was responsible for implementing web solutions on both the internal and external web systems and developing bespoke reporting tools for the production of investment communications.

In addition to web experience, Chris worked at Jersey Telecom as a Network Engineer designing and developing Cisco Networks. Chris is a qualified Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA).

With over 4 years web development experience, Chris has extensive knowledge of leading web technologies. He specialises in rich media development and is an Adobe Certified Flash Professional and gained a BSC Honours in Computing – Networks and communications.
